FiveNotes Overview
FiveNotes is a lightweight macOS note-taking application developed by Apptorium, designed for quickly capturing small pieces of information without the complexity of a full-featured notes manager. The app provides exactly five notes, which can be switched quickly using colored buttons or keyboard shortcuts. It is accessible directly from the Mac menu bar and can remain above other windows, making it useful for temporary notes, phone numbers, reminders, recipes, ideas, checklists, and cheat sheets.
The current FiveNotes 3 adds features such as iCloud synchronization, themes, improved Markdown formatting, tasks, automatic backups, a detachable window, Apple Shortcuts, AppleScript and URL APIs, searching, and screen-edge snapping. Apple currently lists FiveNotes under Productivity and specifies macOS 13 or later compatibility.

- Display: A Mac display capable of running macOS 13 or later.
